Daedalean, a Switzerland-based tech company that develops AI technology for aviation cockpits, has appointed Bas Gouverneur as its new CEO.
The current CEO, Dr. Luuk van Dijk, will step down from his position in October 2024, continuing to work for Daedalean as executive chairman of the board, focusing on key technical projects within the company and company liaison with air regulators like FAA and EASA.
As the new CEO, Bas Gouverneur will primarily be involved in driving the company's strategy for market penetration and ensuring the positive impact of its technology on safety and efficiency. He held a top executive position at RUAG for four years and was involved in the strategic planning and execution of technological innovations as the CTO of RAUG.
