Australian digital health platform Updoc has raised AUD 20 million (USD 13 million) in a funding round led by Bailador Technology Investments, an expansion capital fund listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
The company plans to use the investment to continue developing its technology and fuel international expansion plans.
Founded in 2021, Updoc provides a platform for patients to virtually consult with registered Australian health practitioners. The platform offers telehealth consultations, online prescriptions, and the ability to request and receive medical certificates. Additionally, the platform provides users with other healthcare services such as referrals, pathology requests, and radiology referrals.
