Welbe Care raises USD 7 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Mexican health tech startup Welbe Care has raised USD 7 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Volpe Capital and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with participation from other venture capital firms. This brings the company's total funds raised to USD 14.9 million.

  • The raised funds will be used to bolster the company's operations and intensify its development initiatives. Additionally, the company plans to expand operations to Mexican states closer to the US border.

  • Mexico-based Welbe Care offers employers a comprehensive health membership service to improve employees' access to primary healthcare. The company provides various healthcare solutions through a membership model that includes telemedicine consultations, access to specialists, laboratory tests, and wellness programs. Welbe Care also focuses on occupational health, helping companies manage and improve their workforce's health and wellness through preventive care and regular health assessments​.
