Neynar, a provider of a Web3 social toolbox for developers to build social media protocols, has raised USD 11 million in Series A funding led by Haun Ventures, with participation from a16z's CSX, Coinbase Ventures, and Union Square Ventures.
The company did not disclose the exact use of proceeds, but it intends to strengthen its position within the Farcaster network and expand into other protocols.
Neynar, formed by Coinbase alumni, offers a platform that enables developers to develop Web3 social applications on Farcaster, an open-source protocol with over 378,000 users.
