Gameto raises USD 33 million in Series B to advance Fertilo in US and launch in Australia and Latin America

Funding

  • Egg freezing and storage services provider Gameto has raised USD 33 million in an oversubscribed Series B funding round co-led by Two Sigma Ventures and RA Capital, with participation from Insight Partners, Future Ventures, and BOLD Capital Partners, among others. This brings the company's total funding to USD 73 million.

  • The new funds are expected to support Fertilo's clinical development in the US and its commercial launches in Australia and Latin America, where it is already in clinical use. Fertilo is the company’s novel investigational in vitro maturation (IVM) solution, encompassing engineered ovarian support cells (OSCs) to mature eggs outside of the body.
