Gen Phoenix, Sabeti Wain Aerospace, and Doy Design partner to launch recyclable aircraft seat cover

Partnerships

  • Gen Phoenix, a UK-based company that recycles leather waste, has collaborated with aircraft seat cover designer and manufacturer Sabeti Wain Aerospace and transport design consultancy Doy Design to introduce a fully recyclable airplane seat cover known as the "Circular Dress Cover."

  • The Circular Dress Cover is made from Helios, a material developed by Gen Phoenix using recycled waste in a closed-loop process. It provides a sustainable alternative to traditional seat covers. The product is expected to be showcased in 2024 and available commercially in 2025.
