Eat JUST debuts latest plant-based egg product 'JUST Egg v5'

Product updates

  • JUST Egg, the plant-based egg division of Eat JUST, debuted JUST Egg v5, its newest plant-based egg alternative featuring an improved formulation. It is available at several retail outlets nationwide, including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Walmart, Target, and Kroger.

  • JUST Egg v5 claims to offer an improved flavor profile and an enhanced texture that mirrors real eggs in dishes ranging from scrambled eggs to baked goods. This latest formula exhibits an increased binding capability, thereby providing improved aeration during baking.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In September 2023 , Eat JUST raised an undisclosed amount in new funding led by VegInvest/Ahimsa Foundation to improve the quality and profitability of Eat JUST's products. As of February 2024 , the company has sold 500 million eggs, cementing its position as a leader in the plant-based egg industry.
