Ohmium partners with HYGRO for green hydrogen pilot project in Netherlands

Partnerships

  • Ohmium, a manufacturer of modular interlocking proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers that produce pressurized green hydrogen, has partnered with HYGRO, a Dutch provider of green hydrogen, to carry out a hydrogen production and distribution project in North Holland.

  • The project will pair Ohmium PEM electrolyzers with HYGRO wind turbines at the EWEF Wind Park in Wieringerwerf to produce green hydrogen. The hydrogen will then be distributed to fueling stations in the region.

  • The pilot project, which is expected to be operational in 2025, will begin with 5.4 MW of PEM Electrolyzers.
