Hitachi and Microsoft partner to accelerate business innovation with GenAI

Partnerships

  • Hitachi and Microsoft have entered a strategic partnership to combine GenAI and cloud-based solutions to advance business and social innovation.

  • The partnership involves implementing Microsoft's cloud solutions, such as Copilot for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure OpenAI, and GitHub Copilot, into its Lumada Solution, helping Hitachi improve productivity and accelerate its business growth.

  • Additionally, as part of the collaboration, Hitachi plans to train around 50,000 professionals in advanced AI skills. The companies aim to create innovative industrial solutions that focus on operational efficiency, security, and environmental sustainability.
