Kneron launches new AI chip for on-premise AI applications

Product updates

  • Kneron, a developer of integrated software and hardware for Edge AI solutions, launched the KNEO 330, its second-generation edge GPT server. The KNEO 330 can handle AI inference with 48 TOPs of AI computing power, supports up to eight concurrent connections, and is compatible with large language models (LLMs) and Stable Diffusion.

  • The new chip is designed for businesses that want to run their AI applications on-site instead of depending on servers owned by major cloud providers.

  • Additionally, Kneron announced that its latest KL830 processor chip will be featured in a new PC. The KL830 will enable the PC to run AI applications directly on the device, eliminating the need for an internet connection.
