Vantage Discovery raises USD 16 million in Series A funding for product development

Funding

  • AI-based search engine firm Vantage Discovery has raised USD 16 million in a Series A funding round led by Lobby Capital, with participation from investors such as Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, former Apple chief design officer Jony Ive, and Pinterest co-founder Evan Sharp.

  • The funds will be directed toward product development.

  • Vantage Discovery was established in 2023 by ex-Pinterest employees Lance Riedel and Nigel Daley to help brands personalize search results using large language models (LLMs). The firm’s AI-based search engine provides personalized results based on user interaction and preference history and by using image recognition to surface-related product options.
