Climavision, a provider of radar-as-a-service solutions, has introduced a new product suite called Horizon AI to support the renewable energy sector. The suite improves the accuracy and scope of forecasting models by integrating machine learning and AI-based tools.

The Horizon AI suite features several unique capabilities, including Horizon AI Global, Horizon AI HIRES, Horizon AI Point, and Horizon AI Subseasonal to Seasonal (S2S). These tools provide forecasts ranging from medium-term large-scale events, detailed short-range modeling, and point-based precision forecasts to long-range probabilities. 

Analyst QuickTake: This product launch was announced following the company's recent acquisition of Intersphere, a provider of AI-based S2S forecasting in May 2024 . The integration of Intersphere's AI capabilities was instrumental in supporting the new product launch.
