Airbus and Avincis partner to develop advanced air mobility in Europe

Partnerships

  • Airbus has partnered with Avincis, a leading European helicopter operator, to collaborate on the development and deployment of eVTOL aircraft.

  • The companies expect to develop a concept of operations for eVTOLs throughout Europe through this partnership, focusing on emergency air services. The companies will work together to understand how to apply these technologies to improve and broaden current services.

  • Avincis also expects to operate a fleet that includes ~60 Airbus aircraft to further expand their collaboration.
