Cube, a data management solution provider, raised USD 25 million in a funding round led by Databricks Ventures. Participation came from Decibel, Bain Capital Ventures, Eniac Ventures, and 645 Ventures, among others. The company's total funds now stand at USD 48 million.
The company plans to use the fresh funds to enhance Cube Cloud and its semantic data layer and to acquire customers.
Formed in 2019, Cube offers a semantic layer that enables the connection of data silos, creation of consistent metrics, and access to data through various APIs. From 2023 to 2023, it has recorded a 4x increase in new customers and a 3x increase in deal size and bookings.
