Apple has introduced Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system integrated into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. The system includes multiple generative models designed to assist with everyday tasks.

The system enhances user experiences by writing text, summarizing notifications, creating images, and simplifying app interactions. The system includes a language model with a ~3 billion parameter on-device, a larger server-based language model, and specialized models for coding and visual expression. 

The company claims that the system increases productivity, improves task efficiency, and maintains user privacy. Furthermore, the system is claimed to be designed with responsible AI principles, focusing on empowering users, authentic representation, careful design, and privacy protection.
