Apple announces integrating ChatGPT into Siri and other apps at WWDC 2024

  • Apple has partnered with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into its apps, including Siri.

  • This partnership will allow Apple to embed ChatGPT's GenAI capabilities into its iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems, enhancing various applications. The integration aims to make Siri more useful by providing customization and more intelligent responses.

  • The new developments are expected to roll out with iOS 18 and other software updates later this year​.
