TravelPerk, a European corporate travel booking platform backed by SoftBank, has raised USD 135 million in debt financing from Blackstone and Blue Owl to fund its acquisition of AmTravand, part of its broader expansion efforts.
The funding will support a localization strategy, offering better rates and inventory options through deeper supplier relationships, including data exchange arrangements with American Airlines and Southwest.
The company's acquisition of AmTrav allows TravelPerk to accelerate its growth in the US market. It plans to double its US revenues by 2026 and make the country its biggest revenue-generating region. Additionally, the acquisition will allow the company to leverage its tech and develop new AI capabilities.
AmTrav is a business travel management platform that offers a comprehensive solution for modern companies. Its features simplify business travel booking, management, and analytics.
