Aim Security, an Israeli cyber security startup, has raised USD 18 million in a Series A funding round led by Cannan Partners. YL Ventures and other investors, including Wiz founders and industry leaders from Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, and Google, also participated.
The funding will enhance Aim Security's AI security platform, which aims to provide comprehensive protection for enterprises adopting GenAI tools like chatbots, virtual assistants, and AI productivity tools.
Aim's security platform manages and protects all types of AI use within business settings. It addresses specific AI-related threats, such as exposure of sensitive data, supply chain weaknesses, harmful or manipulated outputs, and new attack methods like jailbreaks and prompt injection.
Analyst QuickTake: This news follows the company's earlier USD 10 million seed funding round in January 2024 led by YL Ventures. The funds were used to develop its GenAI security platform and expand its market reach. Given the rising demand for GenAI security, this funding will assist in Aim Security's continued growth in this space.
