Dow and RKW Group partner to launch new Revoloop recycled resin grades

Partnerships

  • Dow, a leader in material sciences, has collaborated with German sustainable products manufacturer RKW Group to introduce two new grades of recycled plastic resin products under Dow's Revoloop brand. The new Revoloop products consist of resins with up to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.

  • The new Revoloop resins are designed for use in non-food contact packaging applications. One variant is made entirely of PCR plastic, while the other contains up to 85% of PCR plastic derived from regular household plastic waste. The applications for resins include shrink films, protective packaging, heavy-duty shipping sacks, stretch films, and liners.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Dow’s latest product development for Revoloop, which incorporates higher PCR plastic content up to 100%, can potentially launch additional partnerships that use Revoloop in their offerings. Existing partnerships for Revoloop include Sealed Air for ecommerce packaging in May 2024 and a production partnership with Valoregen in July 2022 .
