XRAI Glass launches AR One glasses at USD 1449 for hearing-impaired individuals

Product updates

  • XRAI Glass announced the launch of its AR One glasses priced at USD 1,449. The glasses are designed to improve conversational experiences for the deaf and hard-of-hearing population.

  • The glasses feature a wireless design with an integrated beamforming microphone array. They offer real-time captions in over 140 languages, dual waveguide lenses, and support for online and offline transcriptions.

  • The company claims that its microphone array facilitates accurate sound capture with a 95% accuracy rate within a two-meter range, even in busy environments.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The launch follows its predecessor, the XRAI Glass (announced in July 2022 ), which utilized Xreal’s Air glasses to display real-time captions. The glasses are also notably cheaper than its competitor, Xander , which offers AR glasses priced at USD 4,999. However, XRAI also offers subscription services (USD 20 and USD 50) which provide access to an AI assistant and conversation history.
