Curtiss-Wright acquires WSC for USD 34 million to expand portfolio of nuclear technologies

M&A

  • Curtiss-Wright, a provider of engineered products and services, has acquired WSC, a simulation technology provider, for USD 34 million in cash to expand its portfolio of nuclear technologies.

  • Post-acquisition, WSC’s proprietary simulation platform, 3KEYMASTER, will be integrated with Curtiss-Wright's digital safety systems and advanced condition monitoring technology.

  • WSC focuses on developing proprietary simulation platforms for the commercial nuclear and process industries. Its 3KEYMASTER platform is used in nuclear simulation mandated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for operator training and licensing. Its simulation tools optimize plant design, commissioning, and operations by creating digital twins of components and systems.
