UrbanLink Air Mobility partners with Ferrovial Vertiports to prospect vertiport developments

UrbanLink Air Mobility, an advanced air mobility (AAM) operator, partnered with Ferrovial Vertiports, a subsidiary of Ferrovial, to survey the development of possible vertiport sites in the US.
The UrbanLink and Ferrovial Vertiports partnership aims to collaborate in developing the South Florida vertiport network for its placement, operational planning, and facility design. The vertiport sites would be utilized for UrbanLink’s Lilium Jets for take-off, landing, and recharging the eVTOL aircraft.
Analyst QuickTake: In May 2024 , UrbanLink Air partnered with Lilium by acquiring 20 Lilium Jets. Its partnership with Ferrovial Vertiports marks its second partnership to initiate South Florida's air transportation. UrbanLink Air is reportedly forming other partnerships with AAM leaders with its anticipated eVTOL service by Summer 2026.
