EHang partners with Wencheng County, gaining purchase order of 30 units of EH216-S

Partnerships

  • EHang Holdings Limited, a leading Chinese autonomous aerial vehicle technology company, signed an agreement with the government of Wencheng County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, to develop UAM and advance the low-altitude economy.

  • The Wencheng County Transportation Development Group Co. Ltd. contracted EHang to purchase 30 units of the EH216-S with a 50% pre-delivery initial down payment. The Wencheng Transportation Group also expects to purchase 270 units of EH216-S by the end of 2026.

  • The partnership aims to establish the low-altitude industry across the region by advancing the UAM and operations of pilotless passenger-carrying aerial vehicles. It also aims to initiate aerial sightseeing experiences for visitors. Wencheng Country expects to establish multiple aerial sightseeing routes at Tianding Lake and the Baizhangji Falls and to set up operations for regular eVTOL aircraft by the end of 2024.
