Oceneo, a French company specializing in upcycling used wetsuits into sunglasses, has partnered with sports brand Quiksilver to launch sunglasses made from recycled end-of-life wetsuits collected by Quicksilver via six stores on the Basque and Landes coast in France.
The partners will release a limited series of 150 pairs of sunglasses named FerrisNeo that will become available on June 28. The collaboration follows Quiksilver's initiative called the Take Back program, intending to find ways to recycle used products. Quiksilver also reports plans to expand its take-back in the future by using this recycled material for other products.
