Climate X raises EUR 16.8 million in Series A funding to calculate climate risks

Funding

  • Climate X, a UK-based climate risk intelligence company, has raised EUR 16.8 million (USD 18 million) in a Series A funding round led by Google Ventures. Pale Blue Dot, CommerzVentures, A/O, Blue Wire Capital, PT1, Unconventional Ventures, and Western Technology Investment participated in the round. This brings the company's total funding to USD 24.3 million.

  • The funding will accelerate Climate X's global expansion in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. The company plans to expand its commercial team, particularly in its newly opened New York office, to meet growing demand from financial institutions, asset managers, and real estate investors. The funds will also enhance Climate X's products by incorporating additional data sources into its platform.
