Upstage extends partnership with Amazon Web Services to expand GenAI capabilities globally

Partnerships

  • Upstage, a South Korean AI-based startup, has announced a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to expand the global reach of its AI offerings (namely its flagship LLM, "SOLAR") via AWS' “ISV Accelerate” co-selling program.

  • The partnership will also enable Upstage to leverage AWS’ security infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality of user data and receive guidance on best practices for GenAI, such as optimizing machine learning (ML) operations to reduce costs.

  • Upstage will also use AWS AI services such as Amazon SageMaker, which enables developers to develop and deploy ML models, configure SOLAR for specific business needs, and enable it to provide relative and context-aware responses in applications.
