Edge Impulse, an integrated MLOps platform, has unveiled a new service that allows the generation and management of synthetic data via GenAI. The capabilities are added to the existing platform for building and deploying machine-learning models to Edge devices.

The new service integrates DALL-E for image generation, Whisper for speech element creation, and ElevenLabs for audible events. It also accommodates custom LLM sources. Additional features include direct integration with NVIDIA Omniverse Replicator for developing synthetic data generation pipelines, making the development of computer vision models more efficient. The service also allows prompt modification and evaluation of the output datasets.

Edge Impulse claims its latest toolset will enhance the efficacy of generating and refining prompts to create the desired dataset. It's intended to deliver a seamless workflow for building models with synthetic data, enabling developers to create high-quality datasets using GenAI.
