Eve Air Mobility, a Brazilian producer of eVTOL aircraft, announced that it raised USD 94 million in equity financing from Embraer and Nidec Incorporation, among other investors.
Eve plans to use the funding to improve its eVTOL aircraft development. It will also support the manufacturing of Eve's expected 2,900 aircraft orders and develop Vector, Eve's Urban Air Traffic Management software, to optimize and scale eVTOL operations.
Eve signed agreements dated June 28, 2024, for the issuance and sale of 23,500,000 new shares of common stock at a purchase price of USD 4 per share, the exchange of certain warrants for shares of common stock, and the granting of warrants to certain investors.
