Hexagon partners with Microsoft to enhance manufacturing capabilities with digital twin

Partnerships

  • Hexagon has partnered with Microsoft to integrate its digital twin technologies with Microsoft's cloud infrastructure and AI, aiming to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

  • The partnership enables real-time collaboration and data sharing throughout the manufacturing process. This collaboration will integrate Hexagon's Nexus digital reality platform with Microsoft 365, facilitating seamless connections between engineering and productivity software. This integration allows teams to connect office documents with manufacturing tools, simplifying workflows and decision-making. Additionally, the partnership incorporates GenAI models into Hexagon's manufacturing software to provide contextual advisors, automate productivity tasks, and analyze data. Moreover, it utilizes Microsoft Azure's computing infrastructure to speed up simulations and streamline design and engineering workflows.
