Project44 has introduced enhanced electronic bill of lading (eBOL) capabilities to adopt National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) standards within the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry.
The new eBOL capabilities include three key elements: Automatically sending eBOL data to carriers for every pick-up request processed, allowing shippers, logistics service providers, and carriers to exchange accurate data hours earlier, and reducing paper waste and carbon emissions to support global sustainability goals. According to the company, customers can send eBOL data to supporting carriers without creating new API endpoints. Additionally, it's estimated that these improvements could save between USD 3 and USD 8 per eBOL.
