Meta announces interest-free monthly payment plans for Quest 3 headset

Partnerships

  • Meta announced interest-free monthly payment plans over two years for its Quest 3 headset, with Affirm providing the loans.

  • The monthly installments will cost USD 24.99 for the 128 GB model, while the 512 GB model will cost USD 34.99 monthly. Additionally, the plan will provide users with two years of the Meta Quest Plus gaming subscription and an extended warranty.

  • The payment plan will allow customers to save up to USD 200 compared to purchasing the headset, subscription, and warranty separately.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The news supports Meta’s aggressive efforts to continue pushing the Quest 3 as a cost-effective alternative to Apple’s Vision Pro (priced at USD 3,500 and onwards). This also comes at a time when Apple is making its headset available outside of the US as part of its international rollout .
