ZwitterCo secures USD 58.4 million in Series B funding

  • ZwitterCo, a technology company that offers solutions for industrial wastewater treatment and reuse, has secured USD 58.4 million in Series B funding led by Evok Innovations, with the participation of DCVC, BHP, Munich Re Ventures, Siteground, HG Ventures, and Blue Horizon Advisors.

  • The funds will be utilized to expand the capabilities of the company’s technology, which leverages membranes equipped with its proprietary "zwitterionic" chemistries to recover unconventional water sources. The company's technology can process industrial wastewater and more challenging surface waters or process streams to meet rising industrial water demands.
