The acquisition enables Sharon AI to expand its existing GenAI GPU compute and cloud storage operations, leveraging its management team's experience in energy markets and data center infrastructure.
DSS is one of Australia's largest providers of Filecoin storage services. Filecoin is a decentralized cloud storage network built on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) protocol.
Sharon AI offers infrastructure for GenAI inference and training workloads, combining its proprietary compute architecture with chips from NVIDIA and AMD. The company also offers on-demand cloud storage solutions for enterprises.
Meanwhile, Schubert brings over 25 years of experience in US financial markets to his position as Sharon AI’s CEO, having held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and other firms.
