The University of Vermont Health Network partners with Abridge for AI clinical documentation

Partnerships

  • The University of Vermont Health Network has partnered with Abridge, a clinical documentation solution provider, to improve clinician well-being.

  • Through the partnership, Abridge's AI-powered platform will be deployed across the university’s health network to generate clinical notes from patient-clinician conversations in real-time. The platform had shown promising results during a pilot, including improved clinician fulfillment, significant time savings, and reduced cognitive load for healthcare providers.

  • The enterprise-wide rollout will initially cover primary care and later expand to specialties like cardiology and endocrinology.
