Floraponics, a company developing aquaponics technology to advance sustainable floriculture, has secured USD 150,000 in funding from an undisclosed investor.
The funds will be utilized to scale the organic flower farming business into an enterprise generating over USD 500,000 in annual revenue within the next five years.
Floraponics is a subsidiary of Grateful Gardener, a Maryland-based company working to advance the local floriculture supply chain. Founded in 2023, Floraponics develops innovations in floriculture using aquaponics and reports growing over 20 flower varieties in a 1,800-square-foot greenhouse and operating a commercial-scale aquaponics system.
