Health and well-being company Humana has made an undisclosed minority investment in Healthpilot, a platform offering personalized digital enrollment for seniors exploring Medicare options. The investment supports both companies' visions for a consumer-centric healthcare ecosystem.

The funding will fuel Healthpilot's goals of improving customer product experience, growing its brand online, accelerating data analytic capabilities, and enhancing its AI to serve millions of seniors needing a simplified digital Medicare shopping experience. 

While Humana is one of the health plan providers Healthpilot’s platform evaluates, both companies note that Healthpilot will remain payor-agnostic after the investment.

Healthpilot is a healthcare technology company that uses AI to simplify the Medicare enrollment process for seniors. Founded in 2020, Healthpilot's platform helps users find and enroll in the most appropriate Medicare plans using basic information such as location, doctors, prescriptions, budget, and preferred pharmacies. The platform aims to remove the complexity and bias from the Medicare selection process by providing unbiased advice with most applications submitted without needing customer service assistance.
