Axena Health partners with UpScriptHealth to offer telehealth services for incontinence treatment

Partnerships

  • Axena Health, focused on women's pelvic health, has partnered with telemedicine platform UpScriptHealth to offer telehealth services for women seeking treatment for urinary incontinence.

  • Under this partnership, women can access Axena's FDA-cleared Leva System via online consultations with UpScriptHealth providers. They can complete a questionnaire, have a virtual consultation, and receive a prescription for the Leva System if appropriate. This collaboration aims to improve access to first-line incontinence treatment, especially given the growing shortage of OB-GYNs in the US. The approach is to use pelvic floor muscle training to address urinary incontinence from home, without medications or surgery.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The partnership helps expand Axena Health's offerings, particularly in telehealth. The company has been focused on expanding its offerings and has also raised funding for this purpose in June 2024 .
