RLDatix partners with MedStar Health to improve patient safety using AI

Partnerships

  • RLDatix, a healthcare operations software provider, has partnered with MedStar Health to use AI-powered data extraction tools for analyzing patient safety events.

  • The collaboration will integrate MedStar Health's AI algorithms with RLDatix's risk management solutions to accelerate research on best practices for safety and care delivery. This partnership aims to enable healthcare organizations to extract data from thousands of patient safety event reports within seconds, identify trends, and uncover previously unforeseen risk factors affecting patient safety.

  • The initiative is expected to reduce the the analytical burden on healthcare organizations, providing more time and resources to address root causes of safety incidents and improve care processes. The partnership also initiates a collaborative opportunity for the healthcare industry to share best practices in designing safety into care delivery processes.
