Movement Labs, a developer of a network comprising modular Move-based blockchains, is partnering with Polygon, an Ethereum-focused layer-2 scaling solutions provider, to integrate MoveVM-based L2 chains into the latter's AggLayer, an interoperability protocol.
This collaboration will enable unified liquidity and user bases across Move and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystems. Movement Labs became the first Move-based network to utilize AggLayer, allowing MoveVM-based chains to interoperate with the liquidity and users of any AggChain. The integration coincides with Movement Labs' public testnet launch, with USD 160 million in committed Total Value Locked (TVL) before mainnet.
Analyst QuickTake: This partnership mirrors a similar move from Union Labs , a blockchain interoperability developer that also integrated its solutions with AggLayer, two months after its launch in February 2024 .
