ZestyAI, a provider of AI-powered climate and property risk analytics, has expanded its partnership with Amica Mutual Insurance, a provider of auto, home, and life insurance.

The collaboration will allow Amica to leverage ZestyAI's full property and climate risk analytics platform, including AI-powered hail and wind models (Z-HAIL and Z-WIND) and a property risk solution (Z-PROPERTY), and integrate it with its existing wildfire risk assessment (Z-FIRE) and regulatory compliance solutions. 

This expanded partnership allows Amica to move from territory-based segmentation to property-based risk assessment, enhancing its underwriting and portfolio optimization capabilities. In addition, Amica will be able to understand and mitigate risks for individual properties, enabling them to make more informed and transparent risk decisions in the face of increasingly severe weather events.

Analyst QuickTake: In April 2024 , the company entered into a similar partnership with Florida Peninsula, a homeowners insurer, to improve its property risk analytics. As part of the collaboration, using advanced computer vision and machine learning, Florida Peninsula optimized ZestyAI's Z-PROPERTY Location Insights solution to obtain property data from multiple sources.
