  • Curio, an on-chain Web3 game developer, has raised USD 5.7 million in a funding round co-led by Bain Capital Crypto and SevenX Ventures, with participation from OKX Ventures. This brings Curio's total capital raised to USD 8.6 million.

  • Simultaneously, the company launched Duper, a social strategy game. It is a five-player PvP game, where players attempt to outmaneuver each other and be the last player standing.

  • Some funds raised by the company will be used to support the development and growth of Duper.

  • AnalystQuickTake: The company previously raised USD 2.9 million in seed funding in February last year, with the funds primarily earmarked to develop new Web3-based games and to expand its development and design teams.
