Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group partnered with Roblox and Fandango to create an immersive Beetlejuice experience on Roblox.
The partnership introduces [Beetlejuice] Escape the Afterlife, a virtual experience on Roblox that brings the movie to life and includes Roblox's first-ever virtual Fandango box office. This allows eligible users to purchase real-world movie tickets directly within the Roblox platform, bridging the gap between virtual engagement and real-world movie attendance.
Analyst QuickTake: The activation is the first of its kind, allowing US users over 13 to purchase movie tickets for the upcoming Beetlejuice movie. While Roblox and other metaverses have traditionally been used for marketing initiatives, the activation takes this further by improving customer conversion.
