Upwind launches agentless cloud scanners for CNAPP platform

Product updates

  • Upwind, a cloud security platform provider, has launched Upwind Agentless Cloud Scanners as an extension to its Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). This new feature offers an agentless approach to cloud security in environments where eBPF sensors cannot be deployed.

  • The Agentless Cloud Scanners provide deep visibility and protection across various architectures, including AWS Fargate for Amazon ECS, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Run, and VMs with older OS versions. They offer capabilities such as scanning to identify misconfigurations, malware, exposed secrets, and vulnerabilities.

  • Upwind claims combining Agentless Cloud Scanners and existing eBPF-based Sensors allows streamlined deployment and operations, providing end-to-end visibility and protection across clouds and architecture types from a single, centralized platform.
