Oracle and NVIDIA expand partnership for GenAI and advanced graphics enhancement

Partnerships

  • Oracle and NVIDIA are deepening their collaboration to improve GenAI, LLMs, advanced graphics, and digital twins using NVIDIA's new GPUs on Oracle's cloud platform.

  • The expanded partnership offers new GPU options for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) customers. These include the NVIDIA L40S GPU, which is highly efficient for GenAI, graphics, and video applications. Another offering is the VM accelerated by the NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU.

  • These advancements are believed to assist businesses in speeding up operations, lowering costs, and driving innovation. The partnership also enables more robust 3D simulations and AI-enabled digital twins, improving product and process design efficiency. The partnership is expected to benefit businesses and their customers significantly.

  • Analyst QuickTake: NVIDIA initially announced a collaboration with Oracle in March 2024 to deliver sovereign AI solutions, focusing on digital sovereignty and proprietary data management by integrating NVIDIA's technologies into OCI. This partnership aimed to provide tools for developing and deploying GenAI applications while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
