Reid Health partners with Abridge to implement AI-powered clinical documentation

Partnerships

  • Abridge, a genAI company for clinical documentation, has partnered with Reid Health, a rural healthcare system, to implement AI-powered solutions across Reid's network.

  • Abridge's AI technology integrates with Epic's workflow, automating clinical documentation in real-time. This partnership aims to reduce clinicians' administrative burden, allowing them to focus more on patient care. Key results include an 87% reduction in patient call response time, 60% less time spent on after-hours documentation, and an 86% decrease in note completion effort.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The Abridge system supports 14+ languages and 50+ specialties, making it adaptable to various clinical settings. This partnership is part of a broader trend, with Abridge already deployed at several other health systems and recently receiving a USD 150 million Series C financing.
