Adamo Foods, a UK-based food tech startup, has secured USD 1 million in seed funding, which was co-led by UK Innovation Science, Seed Fund, and Joyful Ventures.
The company plans to use the funding to introduce a fungi-based ultra-realistic beef steak alternative, expand its portfolio with chicken breast alternatives, and scale its production to the pilot scale.
Analyst QuickTake: Adamo Foods’ last funding round was in June 2023 , when it raised GBP 1.5 million (~USD 1.9 million) in pre-seed funding. The company will pool funding from these two rounds to facilitate its market launch.
