VR stress reduction platform Novobeing has partnered with BrinkXR, a provider of immersive travel applications, to enhance VR-based patient care.

The partnership allows Novobeing to exclusively feature BrinkXR's photorealistic environments of natural environments within its XR patient experience platform. The integration aims to reduce anxiety, stress, and pain in healthcare settings by offering virtual escapes to serene nature locations, enhancing Novobeing's interactive programs such as meditation and breathwork.

BrinkXR's technology uses proprietary photogrammetry techniques to create realistic 3D models of iconic destinations, complete with interactive elements. 

Analyst QuickTake: Novobeing has been focused on bolstering patient immersive wellness experiences, having partnered with VR entertainment company Positron in July 2024 to utilize its VR content library and 3D assets to create new experiences. Additionally, the news follows Novobeing securing an undisclosed amount of funding in February 2024 , with the funds earmarked to accelerate product development efforts.
