ClearML, an open-source AI platform provider, has launched its AI Infrastructure Control Plane, a universal operating system for managing AI infrastructure. The product is designed for AI builders, IT teams, and DevOps teams to manage GPU compute resources across hybrid environments.
The AI Infrastructure Control Plane offers comprehensive control and visibility over shared compute infrastructure, utilizes dynamic fractional GPUs for maximized compute utilization, and provides seamless multi-tenancy management.
ClearML claims the new solution addresses key challenges in managing AI compute resources, including rising demand for compute power, cost management, complex infrastructure, and scalability. The company states that organizations can execute 10x more AI and HPC workloads on their existing infrastructure using this product.
Analyst QuickTake: ClearML has enhanced its MLOps platform with key developments in 2024. In May 2024 , it introduced new features for AI orchestration and compute management, supporting environments like Kubernetes and Slurm to automate tasks and improve infrastructure control. Earlier, in March 2024 , ClearML launched the Resource Allocation & Policy Management Center and a Model Monitoring Dashboard to streamline AI/ML development and resource management.
