Parsons Corporation, a technology provider for traffic flow management, has launched an updated version of iNET, its intelligent transportation software integrated with AI and machine learning to offer advanced monitoring and decision support.
The updated version includes iNET Sidekick, an AI-based virtual traffic operator using Azure OpenAI Service technology, which provides instant insights into system data and corrective actions through a conversational interface. The software is built on the Microsoft Azure platform and is available as a configurable software-as-a-service (SaaS) or enterprise platform.
The company claims that the enhanced iNET improves efficiency and safety, reduces operational costs, and helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
