ShipBob launches Section 321 fulfillment from Canada and Mexico centers

Product updates

  • ShipBob, a supply chain and fulfillment platform for ecommerce merchants, has announced Section 321-compliant order fulfillment from three centers in Canada and one in Mexico. This service allows merchants to reduce paperwork, speed up delivery times, and save on transportation and duties for high-tariff goods shipped to US consumers.

  • ShipBob will automatically allocate the eligible orders to fulfillment centers in Canada or Mexico and generate a compliant eManifest for customs clearance. The system coordinates transportation to the nearest ShipBob hub in the US to be handed over to the carrier network.

  • Analyst QuickTake: ShipBob is not the only startup in the third-party fulfillment space that offers Section 321-compliant order fulfillment. For example, LVK Logistics, the recently spun-off fulfillment unit of ShipHero also supports Section 321, which allows US citizens to import up to USD 800 worth of merchandise per day from Canada duty-free.
